Jeff Greenberger is a founding partner in Affordable Community Energy (ACE) along with Hipolito “Paul” Roldan, President of Hispanic Housing Development Corporation. ACE is a mission-driven utility services company providing energy efficiency, water conservation and on-site electricity production to multifamily affordable housing.
Mr. Greenberger spent most of his career in the private sector in commercial real estate services, as a lawyer and as a consultant. In 17+ years at Jones Lang LaSalle, a global leader in real estate services, he was involved in office development, transaction management and corporate services. Before leaving Jones Lang LaSalle in 2000 he was the co-founder and co-head of its Public Sector practice. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Greenberger worked for Deutsche Bank in New York where he was first the Head of Strategic Planning/Real Estate—Americas and AsiaPacific and then Global Head of CRES Corporate Planning.
At ACE, Mr. Greenberger leads the efforts to create a viable business model, including finding the means of financing projects and ACE working capital and in identifying, attracting and affordable housing owners. He has been a frequent speaker at national conferences on the challenges and opportunities of delivering comprehensive energy and water conservation and renewable energy improvements to affordable housing.
Mr. Greenberger has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, Medill School in Evanston, IL and a Juris Doctor Degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York. Besides serving on the Board of Hispanic Housing Development Corporation, Mr. Greenberger has served on the Boards of Facing History and Ourselves and The Institute for Clinical Social Work.
