Bernie Lacayo joined HHDC’s Board of Directors in 2025. Mr. Lacayo is the Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking at Third Coast Bank. He is an experienced executive working in the banking industry for more than 30 years.
Prior to joining Third Coast Bank, Mr. Lacayo established and led the syndication and capital markets group at CIBC, dedicated to arranging and leading complex syndicated debt transactions. Under his leadership, the syndications team developed a national footprint in the traditional middle market lending segment.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lacayo held various senior positions in middle market, leveraged finance, and specialty lending. Throughout his career, he has established professional skills in commercial lending, syndications, strategic planning, accounting, and sales management.
