As Chief Operating Officer, Javier A. Costantino is responsible for managing the design and construction of all Tropic Construction projects as well as the growth plan for the company.
Early in his career he took on the challenge of being an Owner’s Representative for the ground-up construction of a 196-unit 30-story building. Upon successful completion of that project, Mr. Costantino then spent several years in Project Management. He worked for numerous prominent General Contractors, successfully performing in all roles, from Estimating through Senior Project Management. Most of this work has been focused on multi-family affordable housing, ranging from comprehensive new construction through occupied renovations.
Mr. Costantino is highly regarded for his problem-solving abilities, collaborative teamwork approach, affordable housing expertise, and leadership qualities, all of which serve to strengthen Tropic Construction’s mission.
Mr. Costantino holds of Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to being a licensed architect, Mr. Costantino is a licensed real estate broker.
