As Controller, Mr. Druja leads the accounting team and implements processes for accurate and timely financial reporting. Since joining HHDC in 2011, Mr. Druja has held various positions within the accounting department, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of HHDC's accounting practices.
Mr. Druja collaborates with other departments, directing the preparation of reports and forecasts to communicate the financial position of HHDC and its subsidiaries to stakeholders. He supervises senior accountants and Accounts Payable staff, ensuring appropriate work allocations and timely completion.
He manages a wide range of financial activities, including detailed comparative financial analysis, general ledger reconciliations, accounting for new acquisitions, refinancing transactions, cash flow projections, budget forecasts and analysis. His responsibilities extend to coordinating the annual year-end financial audit, managing external auditor relations, reviewing payroll accuracy, and overseeing financial reports for the CHA portfolio.
Mr. Druja graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
