HHDC has welcomed Javier Costantino as the Chief Operating Officer of Tropic Construction Corp. Javier is an architect and construction manager with over 22 years of experience in affordable residential buildings and commercial real estate. Javier has successfully managed many small- and large-scale projects from pre-construction through turnover, ensuring that the work was completed on time and within budget. Previously, Javier worked with McShane, Linn-Mathes, Leopardo and Henry Brothers, among others.
Javier’s expertise includes:
- Pre-Construction Services: Overall project budgeting, estimating, design decisions, value engineering, scope and contract review, and sub-contractor selection and negotiation.
- Construction Services: Management of office and field operations, production schedules, payment applications, cost reports, change orders, and project closeout.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and sub-contractors.
- Strategic Planning.
Javier is a licensed architect and a licensed real estate broker. He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Chicago.
