Residents at Las Moradas Celebrate Anniversary

On Friday, April 21, 2023, Hispanic Housing Development Corporation commemorated the 35th year of anniversary of Las Moradas Apartments. HHDC staff and residents celebrated this historic milestone of services to the community with food, music, dancing and raffle prizes. The festivities began with speeches by HHDC CEO Paul Roldan and Las Moradas property managers. Afterwards, a delicious lunch was served. The event concluded by raffling three gift baskets filled with treats and household items.

 Las Moradas Apartments was built in 1987 at a total cost of $4,208,000. It was rehabbed and syndicated with tax credits between October 2020 and May 2023. The property consists of 80 apartments and serves seniors aged 62 and older. It is subsidized by a HUD Section 202 HAP contract and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits from IHDA.
