We are pleased to announce Sheri Tucker’s return to Hispanic Housing. Sheri worked as the is Property Supervisor for the Chicago Housing Authority portfolio which consisted of 1,200 Scattered Sites units. Sheri brings over 25 years of experience in the Accounting and Real Estate arena. Sheri is a seasoned Real Estate professional who demonstrates by experience, education, and professional affiliations her commitment to quality service and the delivery of a quality product.
As the Director of Public Housing, Sheri will be responsible for the 6,201 Scattered Sites North and Central units as well as senior buildings that HHDC was awarded by The Chicago Housing Authority earlier this year. HHDC was the longest serving private manager for the CHA, managing from 1989-2015 and has managed many of the buildings in these portfolios.
Sheri earned an Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker’s license and began her property management career with the Chicago Housing Authority where she served as the Tenant Accounting Manager. She has since served in several positions for various governmental, not-for-profit, and privately owned companies. In these varying capacities she has been responsible for the oversight of anywhere from 600 to approx. 3,500 units.
