What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined HHDC on May 21 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago to celebrate our 50th Anniversary.
With the theme “Honor the Past, Build the Future,” we reflected on five decades of impact and paid tribute to our visionary founder and former President and CEO, Hipólito "Paul" Roldán. While Hipólito "Paul" has retired, his legacy lives on through the communities we've built—and will continue to build—across Chicago, the Midwest, and Puerto Rico.
A heartfelt thanks to our incredible speakers and emcee Mark Rivera of ABC 7 Chicago, and to all who supported the Teresa and Hipólito Roldán Community Development Scholarship Fund. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $320,000 to continue empowering the next generation of Latino leaders in housing, planning, and development.
Under the leadership of our new President and CEO, Tony Hernández, we’re ready for the next 50 years. Let’s keep building stronger communities—together!
