Angela Maria Azmitia is the Director of Affordable Leasing at Related Affordable, where she leads leasing operations for affordable housing properties. With over six years of experience in real estate(spanning roles in leasing, compliance, and development–), she is dedicated to advancing equitable housing solutions.
Angela holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Roosevelt University (2023) and a Master of Fine Arts in Printmedia from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2018). She has been awarded several scholarships in commercial real estate, including the Teresa Hipolito Roldan Scholarship for Tomorrow's Hispanic Leaders in Real Estate, Roosevelt's Delta Mu Delta Honor, the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Real Estate Scholarship, Goldie Scholar (2021-22), and the NAIOP Chicago University Scholar.
She is also the recipient of the 2024 DCASE Individual Artist Grant. Angela holds certifications as a Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) and Certified Leasing Professional (CLP). She lives and works in Chicago, IL.
